Rhode Island State Parks
Colt State Park (Bristol) - Spend some time at Coggshell Farm Museum set in the center of the picturesque park. The 18th Century working farm has vegetables and herbs as well as colonial craft demonstrations. There is also a 3 mile scenic drive as well as fishing, boating, hiking, picnicking and even seasonal concerts.
Goddard Memorial State Park (Warrick) - A beautiful 489 acre city park with golfing, horseback riding, sports fields, swimming, boating, fishing and windsurfing. There is also a performing arts center, concerts and special events.
Fort Adams State Park - At the Newport Harbour, this impressive state park offers swimming, fishing, boating, soccer and picnicking along with a great view of Newport Harbour and the East Passage of Narragansett Bay.
World War Memorial State Park - At this park you will find areas for picnicking, tennis, concerts and a man made pond.
